The acting in that one scene with the mail driver in the stump on the woods is phenomenal.

2 questions
1) How did the truck driver die?
2) It's been a while, and I'm forgetting this detail. What made Larick start working for the Soviets? Was it Emmit and Leigh Anne blackmailing him over his homosexuality or something else?

So is there any reason Phillip is losing it over this? How was that incident different from the dozens of other times he's killed people?
It's all just coming to a head. He has a comfortable life, his kids are getting older and more aware, he just bought a Z28 and is going through his mid-life crisis, etc. Plus, he had to listen to that scientist blubber in the back seat for what seemed like hours, and then there were the 160 Soviet "kids" killed by the dirty Americans and their fake plans, or rather, the Soviets who were too stupid to spot the design flaws. Maybe he's realizing that American isn't so bad, while Russia plainly sucks, so why the hell does he continue to compromise himself in her service?

In recent episodes we've also seen Phillip have to kill some innocent people who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. The guy who throat he cut this week, the computer guy who showed up in the lab, the busboy at the restaurant. I think that's weighing on him too.

You know he's going to have to off Martha at some point. I wonder how that's going to affect him (or will he have Elizabeth do it)?

Yep...especially after the recent "Clark" talk.
Lizzy...

That's exactly what I was getting at. Philip seems to have a conscience and can see beyond his indoctrination, unlike that cold bitch Elizabeth. She's an enigma.

Whenever Martha and Clark are on screen it makes me cringe. I want to throw up.

I had been a bit disappointed with this season and then the most recent episode happened. That was an incredible episode of TV and IMO the best episode of the series. I hope they continue to build off it.

Yeah the last couple episodes have been better.
This show is what Homeland could have been if the showrunners didnt suck.
