Well if it's a repo, then no chance. You need to put something over 50% of the MSRP to have a chance.
Secondly, it sounds like you need to 're-establish' credit so you are going to have to finance somewhere in the $20k range only because you make a lot of money.
It's gonna be tough bud. But I understand your pain. I can't tell you how many people come in to my store that got their credit wrecked 4-6 years ago. It's really sad to be honest.

Yes you can. Brother went through essentially the same situation as you, put down 7k and got a 35k loan. So he got a 42k truck.
Small town bank and family does a lot of business with them. So idk how it works with a bigger bank.

If someone had a 580-600 credit score, could they buy a brand new truck for $50k after TTL?
My credit score is around 800 and I'm perfectly comfortable driving my 2000 Ford with 150K mileage. Costs much less that way.

Alter, never mind.

It's a 44k truck but I'm sure it'll be 50k after everything. With the money I'm making my tax person told me to get the truck I want and since I take my own taxes out(consultant) she said that she could write it off a lot of taxes. It has to be brand new to get 90% write off though

I plan on keeping the truck for several years so I'm getting what I want.
I want a 6,500 square foot house on St. John. Reality is I can't afford that.
I really want a 2014 truck too. But my 2006 tundra treats me just fine and I don't have a note.
Quit overspending on depreciating items and get your head out of your arse.

We all did fresh out of college with our first few paychecks. Some just went a little crazier than others.

Damn I could do that and then add nav. Used car prices are so messed up for some reason

So bankruptcy or late payments?
If Bankruptcy, then no, it's going to be extremely difficult.
You have to crawl before you walk and walk before you run, etc.
Who knows though. It really all depends on what your credit actually looks like. Hard to say as that is on an individual basis.
If you are what you say you are, credit wise, you need to go to a big arse dealership, I'm talking one of the biggest of whatever vehicle you're looking at. Those dealerships have much more buying power with the banks then your small town dealerships. Much easier for them to get you bought than a small dealership.

You are turning in a company truck and the company isn't offering you a vehicle allowance?
Based on what I've read in this thread that extra 65k will do nothing to help you financially

Exactly. This happened at 21-22 years old. Have done my money right and completely paid off all debts. There are more reasons for buying a brand new truck than a dick measuring contest. I would rather spend a little extra on a truck and pay Uncle Sam a little less.

I added the nav. frick oem nav systems. can't mess with the speaker settings like I want to

Man I'm serious. I looked at a 2009 Yukon and Tahoe each with around 75k miles. Most places were still asking $28k+. I don't get it! Those did have nav, leather and sunroof, which is what I'm looking for but still that's crazy!

If you've paid everything off your score should be higher than 600 unless you've got like 20 negative marks still there.
Still don't think you need the truck but if you are hell bent on buying it, save $35k more over the next 6-8 months and call it a day.

It's a different company and I'm a consultant so I get a day rate and get paid .75 a mile instead of a salary and a truck.
