Piers Morgan Live finally got the axe

My bigger question is how does Jeff Zucker still continue to run major networks. He destroyed NBC almost single handedly with his stupid decisions, and CNN's ratings started dropping the second he was brought on board. This tool has the Midas Touch, only instead of turning anything into gold, he turns it into shite.

I wonder if this is the result of any potential fallout from the UK phone-tapping scandal. He was questioned by the police quite recently.

Piers is awful. He's in the same category as Hannity and Matthews. I like O'Reily a little better, but they're all partisan hacks.

All-around, he wasn't really THAT bad. What destroyed him was his own constant crusade against guns. People in America like their guns. They don't like someone who turns their news show into an anti-gun obsession. They SURE don't like a Brit with a elitist air about him condescending to them about their guns. It's insulting. HE thought he'd been seen as a "rational third-party observer making reasoned recommendations" but he came off as a snooty Englishman telling us how to run our country.

Rarely were there extended periods of time on his show where I didn't want to vomit.
