Walking around campus today heading to baseball games and spotted this parked outside Tiger Stadium!
Think the car is a 57 bel air, but check the plate LSU1958...not sure what's more valuable, the plate or the car.

That is cool. Think it's Eddie from Eddie and the Cruisers.

That's pretty bad arse. I have a civic just like the one in the picture, but I wouldn't want to park it next to that, and make my car look like crap. Well, at least my Civic is better than that one.
And I used to have a license plate in VA, that was "GAUXLSU". Easy way to tell who was from LA. It was funny listening to people try and pronounce it, not knowing that geaux is a word.

Must have been hard for them since the E was missing?

You think a Virginian that had never been to LA would of fared any better with the "E"? Would of been nice if I could do 8 characters, but I couldn't, and "Geaux" was taken. Louisianans still knew what I meant, and that's all that's important.

paint job is classic, but admit LSU colors would be awesome...wonder how long he has had LSU1958, got to be a popular one, along with LSU2003 and LSU 2007...

Nice pic, but that car is a 1957 model..I think Auburn won the FB title that year. I would like to see this car in the Coronado Yellow color offered by Chevrolet in 1957.
Other than those minor issues, the car looks outstanding!
