This stuff is really, really, really good. Thick slices, smokey, delicious.

Discuss.

This will be my next purchase from Trader Joe's:

Ever tried the pre-cooked? The idea of it sort of creeps me out

I buy those uncured ends and pieces every visit. It's the best deal in bacon. $2.99 for a full pound of very premium bacon. It may be the best bacon I've ever bought.

I know that I'll get attacked by the TJ's cult but.....

That place is over rated as frick and is full of weird shite that only a handful of people rave about to aggravating levels and the other 98% of the population says "that place is wall to wall full I weird shite and weird people".

I have one right down the road, went once and bought several things that looked interesting. Not a single one was worth a shite and all tasted like hippie inspired food.

I will never go back again.

I've been more than once to TJ's and found things of interest and quality on each visit, though it wouldn't be a one stop shopping visit for me. I've bought cheeses that were fine and reasonably priced. Haven't bought wine there or any frozen foods that I can recall. I love the salted dark chocolate almonds. I'll grab some of that bacon next time I'm there.

Go to a meat market and buy the whole slab. Quarter it into gallon ziplocs. Cut to what ever thickness you desire...success. I'm not big on the prepackaged stuff.
