Thinking of canceling with ATT. What does the OT have to say about this.

Yup.. Been with them 12 years.. No complaints..

I think Verizon is best but the difference is marginal with sprint...I don't have any more dropped calls than I did with Verizon and I'm saving 30 to 40 bucks a month

Depends on the area. All I've been hearing for years is how they're always upgrading the network, but I'm getting tired of waiting.

Data coverage in BR for Sprint is horrendous. Voice is OK.
The site spacing/engineering in BR is the problem for Sprint. It wasn't designed back in the day for their current data technology. And unfortunately the fix for this is very expensive and takes a long time.
There may be a slight improvement soon with data if they ever fire up a 2nd band that is available but not active yet. However you will need a newer device capable of using this band when it turns on to take advantage of it.
New Orleans is a different story and Sprint data coverage in NO is considerably better.

I switched from Verizon to Sprint in December. The coverage isn't as bad as some people make it out to be in my experience so far, but it's not as good as Verizon. It just seems like there are pockets of areas where the coverage sucks, and even certain parts of the day sometimes the coverage will suck right in the middle of BR. Doesn't make any sense to me why that happens but it does. I have 3 lines on my plan with unlimited data, calling, and text. I'm saving ~$100 a month with Sprint and for the most part it's been worth it, occasionally aggravating though because my Verizon service worked anywhere/anytime.

LG g2 for the win.. Ready for them to turn it on here.. Other parts of the country arealready active with speeds around 50 down pretty constantly.. Been in Prairieville /Gonzales for the last 2 years and haven't had any connection issues except when going over the sunshine bridge coming from d ville toward i10..i will have a dropped call on the downside of the bridge..

this is what I've heard. I think Verizon is the way to go if data is important to you

Sprint data and voice call coverage sucks in west BR and Hammond on up 55. I had sprint when I came here for school, I immediately dropped them for ATT.

Yeah, the 50 down from what I have seen is from band 41 which most likely isn't going to be seen around here for a long time. The B41 sites that are active are mostly old WIMAX sites. Since we never got WIMAX here, well who knows when they will get to it.
Band 26 is where we will get the improvements as it is transmitted from current sites that have been upgraded.

Sprint coverage in NOLA is hit or miss but mainly miss for my needs. I'll continue to deal with though as I'm on their SERO plan
Another factor may be that my model phone is known to have radio issues so that could be a factor also

I think we will get 41 before 26..but that's just my thought.. Do you visit s4gru dot Com?? A lot of intelligent people over there concerning the towers and such..

My husband had Sprint for several years and HATED them. Customer service is horrible. He had the unlimited data but didn't matter. He couldn't even get a good signal in our own house. Forget even trying to stream anything on it.

Yea, I am a sponsor. 26 is supposed to be live in the market before 41 but who knows.
Of course without the spark update for the N5 I won't be using either. I really wish they would send out the update to enable these bands. 26 or 41 could be running on several sites and I just can't see it yet.

sprint data is dog shite. all i hear is how towers are going up to improve it and give it time. its not gonna happen. it is shite

No sprint is the worst thing since Fascism.
