Seven teams reported already this week, five more today, everyone else will be in camp by Sunday! (Pitchers and catchers, that is)
Way too early predictions?

inb4 all of the Yankee, Braves, and Red Sox fans with the prediction: "Astros will suck again."
On-Topic: Dodgers and Rays in the WS. Rays sweep.

I don't know what to expect from the AL East. I don't know that Jackie Bradley, Jr is ready to replace Elsbury, which will be key to the Red Sox season. The Yankees spent a lot of money on a couple of players, again. And if those players don't produce to their pay grade, the Yankees will be in trouble again.

Cubs mathematically eliminated.

I'm a Braves fan, so of course my fan pick is them.
If I have to be completely objective then I'm going Cardinals v Tigers with Tigers winning in 5

That's a solid prediction. But I just think the Tigers fall apart this year.
I really have much respect for Brad Ausmus, a great baseball guy (yes, I'm an Astros fan)... but I think the Tigers will have too many issues, i.e. Verlander's health is iffy, Ausmus replacing a legendary coach, etc.

Really???? Unless ALL the starters [pitching] get injured you are being stupid.

Do they have to be about the world series? What about those of us who root for teams who dont' have a snowballs chance in hell of making the playoffs?
if not, Javier Baez up with the big club by end of June...the term "baezsphere" sweeps chicago with a fervor that hasn't been felt since the japaneese bandanas for koske fukudome...and that ends the parallels between those two players.

Tigers are likely taking a step back. No Prince or Fister. Leyland is gone. Will Miggy produce another unreal season? I think they will regress a little. Still the best in the AL Central.

I think the Tigers are still the best team in baseball with that staff. The AL East and West should be very competitive. A lot of possible playoff teams in those two divisions.
I think the Cardinals have to be favorites in the NL going into the season with their pitching and lineup depth.

The only other team that'll give Detroit a run for their money in the Central this year IMO is KC. They have the pitching and their hitters are improving.

KC and CLE will be competitive for sure. Min will be a couple years.

Sorry my point of view doesn't match yours.
Personally, I do not think ALL of the starters have to get injured. Verlander is coming off an injury.
On top of that, is Miggy going to be thrive without having Prince in the lineup with him?
Perhaps, "fall apart" is a bit excessive description. But, I don't see them as a contender for the WS. I think they'll struggle to reach the playoffs.
How many Rookie managers keep their team on par with the previous legendary coach?
Oh yeah, none of those reasons matter, because I am just stupid.

Mike Matheny comes to mind
Girardi had only two years managerial experience before replacing Torre
Even Frediot has kept the Braves in the playoff hunt after Bobby and he too only had a couple of years managerial experience

Looking forward to the big early Nats/Braves series 4/4-4/6 that will set the tone for the East.
PHI will suck balls, so I have that to look forward to.

I think the Nationals win the NL this year if healthy.
