I can't imagine going on a trip with someone sitting in the backseat + cargo in a wrangler.
I don't even think you could fit 2 people plus golf clubs.
I'll just assume you're talking about a 2 door. An Unlimited has more than enough room for all that.

4 door is different, but it still doesnt have a whole ton of room.

In a 4door? Plenty of room.

Yes. Lay the seats down and its like a tahoe back there!

We went camping in the Rubicon last summer. Fit all our gear and us AND our dogs. Had to get creative with a bunch of bungee cords but made it work.

Ill believe it when I see it. Chrysler is notorious for this shite. Id say they are waiting on governmental regs for the release more than anything, since they already have a diesel. I heard there was a big change, not sure if it has taken place yet though

You do realize the 4 door is bigger and has more cargo space then the Cherokee or grand Cherokee right?

Yes, but there is a lot of hard to use space, that they also include in that

I think 30k is a lot of money to spend on a Jeep, I just can't imagine it as a daily driver.
I (well my dad) has a 67 CJ5 that we play around in, it's great.

I fit golf clubs in mine all the time no problem. Its all about spacial manipulation when owning a Jeep.

30k? you're only going a step above basic. throw in another 10 and get something nice ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

I don't think I'll ever own a 4 door. I had a '91 Wrangler back in the day, and a 2004 Wrangler now. I test drove one of the 4 doors, and when I saw it was a 2WD I didn't want anything else to do with it.
That being said, a JKU Rubi with a lift and 35s does look pretty sweet. I just don't want to spend $50k to get one in that shape. I paid around $15k for mine almost 2 years ago, and will probably still be driving it in some shape or form 10 years from now. Just one of those vehicles I never want to get rid of. When the time comes to retire it as a daily driver I'll still keep it for a fun vehicle.

As someone who drives an anti Jeep.... I have to admit the new 3.6 Unlimited is nice. Too nice for me to scratch up, dent, fill with mud, dogs, sand and torturing it.
I went from a lowered 2005 new car, to an old lifted Suzuki. I will get myself an is350 and the wife an rx...but I'm keeping this one forever.
And if you wanna talk lack of creature comforts, its loud, Bedlined and lifted. We still take it cross country 3-4x a year.
The ability to go over or around objects trumps ANY convenience/comfort issues.
