FYI - for those who do not live in Santa Rosa.
Distribution:
We will begin distributing Pliny the Younger on draft the week of February 10th in and around Sonoma County and the Bay Area. Stone will likely pick up their shipment for Southern California that week or the following week. We will be sending kegs to our distributors in San Jose, Sacramento, Oregon, Colorado, and Philadelphia sometime in February, ship dates TBD. At this time, we do not know what accounts will receive kegs of Younger, but it will likely be available at many of the same accounts who received it last year since the production numbers are very similar. It is our recommendation that our accounts tap it as soon as possible after receiving their delivery to preserve the freshness and integrity of the beer. This beer is not meant to age AT ALL! Pliny the Younger is very much like the fresh catch of the day and best enjoyed right away!
I'm iced in today, so I'm kinda bored. Wasn't intending, to, but may dabble in a FBD later...
I'm guessing we'll get some in Portland at the usual suspects, but I'm also guessing that it will be a mad house. Will go if I can fit it in, just to mark this one off my "want to try" list.

So when are they sending the Baton Rouge allotment out?
Posted on 2/10/14 at 12:39 pm to Jax-Tiger
So random that they distribute to Pennsylvania but nowhere else on the east coast

That and Philly has a huge craft beer scene and has had it for a very long time.

Meh. Other cities on the east coast have bigger and older craft beer scenes. No way they get russian river if hes not from there.

Oh well just looking at the seekabrew map makes it look random. I wonder how long it will take them to get some southern distribution of their beers.

There is a reason they only make a limited amount, they can hardly give that crap away.

Are the lines still ridiculously long?

Some places have taken to doing their Pliny releases via raffle tickets that you buy and thus guarenteed to get some.
Release at RRBC has been crazy this year. I may be able get some this week in SF in case our plans change on Sunday due to lines that are too long.

Also Jax, how have you not had a beer yet since you're iced in? You should edit and turn this into the FBD thread

According to their FB page lines were shorter yesterday but still very long.
