OK, building a man cave and wish to put in an indoor golf simulator. Something accurate, something that would improve my game, and something fun.

There are many different kinds out there from the low priced golf launch pad to the much higher priced ones. Now I know this is the OT and everyone can go out there and spend the 60k for the pga golf simulator, but I frankly don't want to spend that much for something I will be using recreationally.

So, which is a good one? Some I have looked at include...

P3 pro
Optishot
GSA
Protee

Just wondering. I can go out and get my own impact screen and buy my own projector and have many extra computers sitting around the house.

Bang for the buck and durability, anyone have any opinions? Are there better ones than I have mentioned?

Not sure how well it will improve your game since you are hitting off a rubber mat that makes your club bounce everytime you swing. Thats a reason I never go to ranges that have rubber mats.

Why?

Go to the country club, hit on the range, and get wasted at the bar instead.

This will just give the wife one more excuse for you to not go to the club as much.

I have a p3 pro. It works as advertised, but it is a pain to tape up clubs so the sensor can detect it.

If its more for a man cave than instruction, I would just get the new Xbox with the Tiger Woods golf game.

We use a company called foresight sports at the office. It uses a projector, a portable launch monitor and a laptop. It's very accurate. I think it costs around $7000
