The BCE stuff is stupid.

Using the term BC or AD dosen't make you a Christian.
It reminds me of the small people that don't capitalize "God" in a sentence because they are afraid that people will think they believe if they do.

well using AD (anno domini translates into "in the year of our lord") sounds pretty dumb if you aren't a Christian.

Or the people that do capitalize it because they worry he'll get pissed.

I don't capitalize god because there are lots of them all over the world. Its not a proper noun.

Christian God would be capitalized or the specific names of other specific like Hindu gods.
