Cat scratch fever.

Yes it's real.

Your lymphnode is swollen.

I am not a doctor, and I havent stayed at a holiday inn in years.

You are welcome.

Note to self, never ask for any medical diagnosis from the OT.

When's the last time you pooped?

Maybe it's a backup of poop?

I know it doesn't pertain to this thread but does anyone know anything about asthma. I have never had it but right now I am wheezing both inhaling and exhaling. It feels like my airways are closing up and its pretty scary.

How old are you?

More likely you have a mucous plug. Rare for asthma to appear later in life. Can't be diagnosed definitively without PFT's though.

Yeah, you can go see a doctor. I will never understand why people here think that asking people on a message board is an adequate management of their health,

Do you smoke?

No I don't smoke. I am going in the morning. What is the treatment for a mucus plug?

A swift pat on the back.

Seriously: we use mucinex but there's no clear evidence it works. Generally they just have to be cleared. I sometimes use steroids.

If you're struggling to breath go to the ER already. Stop dicking around on here.

You don't have to have asthma to wheeze or feel short of breath. Bronchitis, pneumonia, pulmonary edema, pneumothorax, congested heart failure, or anything that cause inflammation in your airways can produce symptoms of wheezing/shortness of breath.

If you are really feeling that you are in respiratory distress, then yeah... stop dicking around and go to the ER and have them check you out!!
