Bill Nye Debates Ken Ham

Bill Nye the Science Guy is debating Australian young-Earth creationist Ken Ham on the origins of the earth. It starts in a couple minutes, and can be viewed live on YouTube. I didn't see anything posted and nothing came up in a search.

I don't get why this debate is happening. At least put some real Christian scientists/philosophers in the debate.

The article I posted above makes the point that Ken Ham's argument is not only based on bad science, but it's also based on very poor biblical scholarship.

He has a Bachelor's from Cornell.
