This. And I love the state of California and the bay area. The fact that line monitors are a selling point is almost something from Saturday night live. What a waste.

These are the same people that bitch about "exposed beams" at Alex Box or a random pvc pipe. There is literally no pleasing them and they are incapable of understanding a thought process that doesn't conform to their old fashioned views on what the exterior of a stadium should look like.

Or... It just seems like not much in the way of ROI when looking at it. 1.25 Billion should get you more than that. I could give a crap how it looks, just seems like a major major ripoff. But I know some people don't care about wasteful spending. Just seems like a billion and a quarter should get you a little more than beams, cinder blocks and open air. That's all.

Interesting. How many stadiums have you built?

Yeah. Apparently these guys would like a stadium to look like the frickin Guggenheim!

I judge stadiums differently than whether they're ugly or pretty.
especially when they aren't even built yet.

So none.

And yet you seem to think you know all about what goes into building one.

Well even when it's built, it's going to look like shite.

By the way I bet Levi's stadium will be loud as frick. Noise reverberating off the glass on the building side and all.

And the 2 huge jumbotrons look pretty awesome too. Unfortunately though the place just isn't gonna be pretty enough for some guys.

You're not familiar with the concept of an open air stadium? It fits the climate in that part of the country perfectly.

I personally don't get the design.. And while I don't need to, it plays into my chances of visiting the stadium.. It just won't be on my list of must see stadiums because of wifi and bathroom line info.. Now if the fan reviews from the inside are great and the place offers great sight lines... I may change my mind.
