I have had them charge but they always slam on the brakes before actually getting to me. This was with dogs as they were bayed up. My big arse can climb a tree fast when one turns my way.

I have been charged and seen pigs charge and get minor scuffs but that is the worse I have seen on a human.

I've had a couple start running towards me after I shot them, but the continued barrage of 223 made them either turn around and walk off to die or died while trotting towards me.

an uncle of mine has one nasty looking scar on his calf from an encounter with a boar. damn thing either bit or hooked him clean thru his calf. i'll try and get a pic in the next few days to post it.
