Unless they have accounts at the same financial institutions, it will not be the cheapest way. Wire transfers can cost anywhere from $30 to $40.

due to scams and recent fraud using WU or other type cashier checks, most buyers will only accept a usps money order

send it priority mail / fedex express 2 day mail with signature confirmation and tracking

make sure you request insurance on shipped firearm in case something happens. insurance is around $1.25 for each $100 value. Money well spent

I've done this hundreds of times ( knock in wood) with no experienced problems

Did not know this. The jeweler must have banked with chase too because I know it was free when I did it.

I take back what I said and now say, if they use the same bank as you, account transfer the money.
