Anybody been? Is it worth the amount of money for a pass? Would be a dream to see this tournament in person one day. Just seeing the experience that people had there

I have never been. But everyone I know who has been said their experience was worth every penny.

Practice rounds are the best.

I thought about just doing practice round. Guessing it is a lot more interaction with the players? I would love to be there during the tournament, but honestly just want to be able to walk that course.

Glad you brought this up. This is #1 on my bucket list of things of sporting events to attend. Nothing beats Sunday at Augusta

This is what I will do when I finally go. I just want to get out there and see the course in tourny conditions, etc.
The food is still super cheap is one thing I heard.

Drop the coin and go. If you have even the most remote interest in golf, you have to see it to believe it.

My dad, brother and I have been talking about it for a couple years now. Is it easy to get tickets? I thought there was some sort of lottery?

Two of my uncles, who are major golf fans, finally went in 2008. They did the practice round thing. Said it was incredible. Something i definitely want to experience one day.

I'd like to go, but I'm gonna wait for Tiger Woods to retire.
Dude just cheats the whole time and ruins it for everybody.

Lottery already took place. Prepare to pay an insane amount if you want to go this year.

If you get a ticket through the lottery, how much does it run?
To buy them now would be like $1200 a day
$400 for practice round

I think balls went last year and had a couple of good picture threads. Looked very nice.

Go on Friday afternoon. Have someone at one of the exit gates and someone in one of the parking lots. It's amazing how many people will come Thursday and Friday then leave and take their passes. You can buy them in these areas and typically pretty inexpensively.

I know he's going this year.
I think he did go last year too.

Did the Wednesday Practice round and Par-3 tournament last year. Would definitely recommend this for a first timer... That way you can bring your camera and take about 6 million pictures. We bought on Stub Hib and paid about $700 per. Get there as soon as it opens if you want to see Tiger. He does an early practice round with Freddy. Go buy your merch 1st thing or the lines will be insane in the afternoon. They have a deal where you can check it so you don't have to carry it around all day. Morning on the big course, then find a spot to post up on the Par 3 course where you can see 3or 4 holes. Was awesome last year. Arnie, Jack, Gary, Fuzzy, etc. Etc. Etc. All walked within 3 feet of us. You'll love it.
