It was from fraud. I have written that off long ago. If he is ever found, he is going to jail for a long time anyway

his bdayis 3/30/84. his mom is alive but dad died a few years back. i have an address on my abstract of judgment and its was the parents residence at the time.

i've already sent it to the county recorder. i live in north dallas for now but expecting to move back this summer.

Recorded judgments are only good for 10 yrs. The creditor would have to take steps to keep the judgment valid.

Record the judgment in the county where the parents homes are situated in.

Yes. You're a creditor. The judgment is likely worthless now. Talk with your lawyer.

Yes. Call a collection attorney in California. In FL, you can garnish wages, get bank levies, really frick with someone, to enforce a judgment. You just need a professional to get it done. Usually they will do it on contingency if they find the dude has assets or a real job.

see, OT is good shite! out of all the research i've done, i didn't know they existed. the civil guys i spoke to were either stupid or thought i was. and what exactly is contingency in this case?
