Adoree, McDowell and Dupre... I think these guys realize they have the chance to be a part of something truly special that decades from now will be viewed as a high point at LSU - which is a school with great tradition anyway. I would not be surprised at all to see Valentine and Young join this class. Young and Garrett could be the best linebacking duo in the SEC - ever. I still think we have a chance at Zo Carter too. He is tailor made for what LSU is and continues to do on the defensive line. He is going into engineering as well. LSU certainly provides ample opportunity on that front. Moreover, playing for LSU gives him an inside track with an amazingly prosperous oil & gas community should football not work out for some reason. I have a feeling that the next few weeks are going to be amazing (and I have heard some inside info that leads me to believe others think this to be possible too).
Unless you have inside info nobody knows about, Carter is a Georgia lean, McDowell is a Michigan state lean, adoree seems more interested in Florida and west coast schools. Possible by a very slim margin, but far from likely.

yeah, I am not hearing the likely hood of this happening.
I think we end up Dupri.
Maybe Valentine
Beyond this, I really have my doubts about how we close... the guys were are after are being highly recruited by other big time programs..

Some of you guys learned nothing from the Under Armour game

The consequence of over-exuberance is depression. I appreciate the positive thoughts, but those three, except for Valentine are reaching too high. They are in descending chance order, Valentine (50/50), Young (30/70), and Adoree (10/90). Wish it were better, but distance, local amenities (Southern California atmosphere), and other factors are just too great for us to conquer.

We should have a SPECIAL Recruiting Board for anyone that has had any alcohol at all.

Right. The rest of us would much rather use a larger sample size, such as years of following recruiting. But by all means, keep crying about one game like its the one gold industry standard. Nothing wrong with the OPs optimism, but you kids that are ghosts on this board that only drop in to reference 1/2 need to get the frick out.

There seems to be reason for optimism on him recently, we will see.

Adoree 's parents have asked him to stay close to home in California. I guess SC since it's real close and they're in the top 3. This was Twittered. and it's on TD too.
Adoree is from St. Louis. He went out to HS in So Cal and lived with is sister because he is from a rough area and his parents wanted to remove him from that atmosphere.
He was interviewed yesterday and said he is narrowing it down to four at the beginning of next week.
LSU will make the cut along with UF, Tenn, and USC is what it seems like.

Those guys were for the most part in-state guys. The guys we're after now are mostly out of state guys. LSU has a brand and selling points. They have a good chance of landing TWO 5* guys come signing day.

if this guy is right, sign me up for his service. I will help finance the startup.

We're more likely to get Carter than McDowell or Jackson, and most likely we won't get any of those three. I think the only other 5 star we'll get is Dupre, but with Dupre and a few 4 stars, it's still an incredible class.
