Not quite. The best CB is a sophomore from Kentwood named Harlan Miller who will be a high draft pick in two years, similar to Robert Alford who went in the 2nd round to the Falcons. They have other guys back as well. They like to play 12-15 DBs per game so the added depth is huge.

They are actually saying Miller might be able to go pro early. Not saying he will just saying some scouting reports I have read. I am pumped for next year. I think we can win it all. We are loaded on offense(weak on tackle but picked up a few experienced transfers) and the only real weakness was Safety and the number 2 corner IMO. We covered both of those.

Yea defense is loaded on paper
Dline stacked: Newman Nicholls and Kansas transfer
LB core way better: Corbett Misita and Muse
CB improvement : Harlem and Raymond with Batiste Tulane transfer at nickel
Safety vastly improved: Eugene sandolf and stoddard
Offense with Bennett back.
Plus added Briggs to WR core.
Scary for teams. Another Southland title

Marice Sutton and Denzel Thompson are pretty good players too. The Lion secondary will be better and deeper than a lot of FBS secondaries.
