I worked at a hospital once where we were very short staffed and one of the nurses started feeling sick and vomiting.

Charge nurse actually convinced her to let them put a saline lock in her and give her an IV bolus. She actually had the IV in covered by her sleeves as she worked the rest of her shift.

F that....I would have said I'm sorry but I have to go home.

This was years ago btw and likely illegal as hell.

Most medics I have spoke to have this story. Wife has brought me a bolus once from work when it had food poisoning. No meds though or hangover.

Have you even read the thread yet? ThePoo mentioned it halfway down page 1.

I'm not spending $150 to cure a hangover. Battling the weirds is all part of the game. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

ETA: Mezcal always wins

We used a company out of ATL for the Georgia/LSU game this year.

Half the people who got them couldn't tell the difference.

I saw an advertisement for this type of place on a bus by UNO yesterday. Would be good to have it around LSU with some sort of monthly subscription for a certain amount of visits. Maybe the oxygen to the nose and have an extra charge for an IV

$200 for a single time is outrageous

if is an interesting premise...

I do think that anyone who feels that it is ok to pay $200 to get over a hangover should probably consider quitting drinking instead...

Plenty would pay 150.00 if they are vomiting, for a bag of fluids with a push of Zofran. Flying on plane hung over would rank as the be the highest form of torture I have ever endured....
