how did a post game interview hurt the team?

It didn't

But can you not see how a guy who only talked about himself after his team clinched a spot in the superbowl could be viewed as a Terrell Owens type player that may eventually let his massive ego get the best of him?

I was ambivalent to the issue before, now I'm fully in the Shermanator's corner.

Seems like everyone would prefer empty meaningless cliches over actual raw emotion.

People love emotion when it's about "yay we won," or, "wow, we overcame a lot of obstacles." We are talking about, "I'm the best thing going."

Yes, I would rather canned coach speak than the latter. It's more annoying.

Crabtree is a pos, Sherman hates him and talked like a crazy man in one of the few acceptable situations to do so

Sherman is the man, and he is stylin on all these jealous crackas

they may have made me turn to support their super bowl efforts, just to see what he'll say after winning the big one

It's complicated but I certainly am not getting any awards for my worldview

I just know them when I see them. You strike me as the "it's solely about skin color" johnny rebel type racist

So according to Fox Mulder, acting in a loud arrogant manner is "acting black". Can we get this bigot of the board please

What's worse, though, is that Broadway's tweet sort of rings true. Sherman is a well educated, intelligent and intellectual individual. He's very smart on the football field. But, the average NFL fan or just average American may see that and say "Typical".

Sherman isn't responsible for the average Americans bigotry nor Broadway's extreme ignorance/ naivitey .

There were dozens of Black players interviewd this week alone among this 4 teams , but Sherman is 'typical' of & represents 45 million African Americans?

All of the Black players who were interviewed on Denver Broncos , Patriots, Miners & Sherman's teammates alone? Why aren't' they 'typical'?

The Entire NFL season & the thousands of African American players interviewed , But Sherman is the 'typical' one?

Bigots always pick up any perceived 'negative' behavior & try to paint all Blacks when the vast majority this season nor sports history have gone off in this manner.

Broadway is ignorant/naive & gives bigots ammunition.

I am a Sherman fan because he gets under the skin of bigots.

keep deflecting buddy. You have already proven to be the one that type casts people based on skin color. It is a shame really

But is he an arrogant player who does nothing but act like a fool and parade around like an idiot? Of course he is. Period. Let's move on
If that is all people were saying around here, this would have moved on already, FWIW.

For all of the racists who want to continue brewing in their cauldron of racial hate, Sherman will be on SVP in a little while.

I just let you talk your way into a corner by saying "acting black". You said it nobody else. But keep thinking you are winning

All of ESPN 2's daily content is designed around attracting young black viewers. Why are we shocked?

I agree with you Shel, some people have taken it to far and it prolly stems from a racial standpoint. My point is not everyone is like that. Not everyone is like Fox Mulder who casts people as "acting black"
