Hate to say it, but I think Dell would trade the pick. Even if Monty gets canned and Dell is retained, he's on the hotseat himself. It may not be a bad idea, though. If we can dump EG for nothing and can offer the top pick for someone like Love (would save Minnesota ~$20m over the next 2 seasons), it would be something to think about.

Just get me a top 3 pick and I'll be happy

Was trying to look for other deals that we could make. If we still couldn't unload EG, him+the #1 pick for Noah/Butler was interesting for a second, but I quickly soured on it since both could leave within 2 seasons. EG's deal isn't close to being bad enough for me to do it.

I love Jrue, but I don't think that OKC hangs up if you offer Jrue/EG/#1 for Westbrook/Perkins.

If we could dump EG, I'd love to trade the pick. I was thinking more of a true 5 tho, maybe Cousins.

If we can't dump EG, we'd have to keep it for the rookie contract, right. You're more of the cap guy than me.

I'm confident that we could, at worst, trade EG for a bad MLE contract, saving ~$8m/yr.

Dell and Monty both should hit the road......what has dell done to earn his keep? The cp3 trade was a complete flop, and he shouldn't get any credit for getting Davis.

If we end up with a top pick.

Fire Monty

Draft Wiggins or Parker.

I would actually keep Gordon until a decent value comes along. Unless we really feel a big FA signing will happen I wouldn't drop him.

Look at signing center depth like Gortat or something.

If the top 3 picks are high impact now players it would be nice to have that talent on cheap contracts.

You're right the only two things he's done since getting here are those two things. Both of those failed. He should be fired immediately. I mean, what GM only makes two moves in 4 years?!?!

Wouldn't the best case scenario be winning out?

Please enlighten me what kind of value you expected us to get from someone who actively wanted out and made it known he would not resign with us. I'll wait...
