Born in NOLA, raised in the REAL God's Country (Chalmette, brah!)
Grew up fishing, camping & shooting with my Dad. Only got to make a few hunts before he passed away in 91 when I was only 14. He loved the outdoors. Shooting & fishing more than hunting but he occasionally went. Mostly small game. My first kill was a rabbit when I was 12. 20ga SKB side-by-side.
Never really got to do hunting in my own after he passed. Losing all his guns to Katrina also put a big hurt on my hunting chances as I no longer have any rifles or shotguns.
But I still love fishing and shooting and as my sons grow older I'll be sure to pass that down to them also.
