I sorta agree but it goes both ways. If a pitcher grooves a ball right down the middle, or hangs a curve, and gets bailed out by a ball falling 10' short of the warning track, something is wrong with that too. The '09-10 bats were the best balance between gorilla ball and puff ball.

Which is exactly what is happening.

The ball just doesn't go. With the old 90's bats, your 9 hole was a 20 HR guy. Thats wrong, but so is a pitcher that continuously gets bailed out for making bad pitches. When you get more pop out of a wood bat, you've gone too far.
