What would be the best personal card for points right now? I’m gonna be charging about $80,000 in the next year for a group trip that I’m planning. I don’t typically use a credit card for my personal expenses and I want a card just for this trip since I’m planning it for other people and will be receiving money from them. I don’t want to mix it with my own expenses. I figured this would be an easy way to rack up some points. Thoughts?

Woah!
I would suggest the Chase Sapphire Reserve. You're going to get 3 points for every dollar you spend on travel-related expenses. You'll also receive a 50,000-point sign-up bonus.
So between your charges and the bonus, you should have around 300,000 points after paying for the trip. You can transfer those points to various airlines and actually be able to travel around the world in first class.
There are also many perks with the Reserve card (lounge access, trip insurance, $300 travel credit, TSA/Global entry reimbursement).
