I see this is great news. The employment picture is getting better and better each unemployment rate just dropped way below 7 and the trend is our friend.
Certainly no one can justify an emergency bill to extend unemployment in this economic boom can they?

So it is entirely clear that this economy is reducing it's unemployment rate by simply counting less participants.
Answer this: which has fallen by a greater % in those 2 charts
1. The unemployment rate
2. The labor participation rate

They've fallen at almost identical rates.

Seriously just take a look at the graph. At peak unemployment we were at 10% and now down to roughly 7%
That's a 30% drop
At the same time the labor force participation rate was a hair ovr 65%, but for the sake of argument let's say 65.5%
Now it's at ~62.7%
So the UE rate drops 30% and the labor participation rate drops about 4.3%
I'm supposed to be outraged how exactly?

When, 'Look at me everyone and how contrarian I can be!' goes wrong.

Wow, Powerman.
That may be the biggest fail in the history of the PoliBoard. I'm changing my sig as well.
