I called AT&T yesterday and went to the cancellation dept. I told them about what T-Mobile is doing and asked if they would like to do anything to keep me as a loyal customer. They gave me $15 off per line for 3 months. That totals to $225. Not sure what I was really expecting, but I was happy with it. I wasn't going to switch to T-Mobile anyways, so I guess it's a win.
Free money from a shitty cell phone company doesn't do me too much good when I can't make a call/text.

I just called to cancel and was asked if was because of the T-Mobile offer. I ended up getting my unlimited text free for 6 months. Which saves me $30 a month.
Saved $180 for a quick phone call.
