This, I believe I heard 68% of political donations came from the top 1% and somewhere over 90% from the top 5. That is NOT good and means there is effectively an election before the election controlled by a small number of people.

But I'm not even talking about money as it is used to influence politics.
We are so awash in money we can send $8B to third world countries for climate change initiatives.
Yet we are trillions of dollars in debt.
Thus my statement that we have too much of it and not enough at the same time.
You can't serve both God and money and He'll use the later to humble those that disrespect the former.

How are we supposed to "work from the middle out" when one side picks as their caucus leaders people like pelosi, reid, durbin, schumer, hoyer, and wasserman as their party chair. Their last 2 presidential nominees have been the absolutely most liberal or close to it in the senate at the time.
Someone tell me how you go about compromising with the likes of that.

If we fall it'll be from within.
People have already listed several possibilities.

Yep cause stop signs are a horrible idea.....Jesus H fricking Christ...are there still people about who do not understand how incredibly stupid the idea that "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." is? DO you really think that putting a lock on your front door (security traded for the liberty of not having to keep up with a key) means that a person deserves no freedom or security? Ben Franklin was a fricking moron.....

1. Abdication of personal responsibility for both self-sufficiency and child-rearing.
2. Destruction of the nuclear family.
3. Increasing intrusion of technology into areas once reserved for human reasoning.

The ruling elite. Obama and Bush are all the same and until we break that mold and elect someone like Gary Johnson we will continue down this path.
