...who is the best Tiger you have seen LIVE on both sides of the ball??

For me ('97 grad) it was closer on defense than offense, but both was close. Although my favorite was Sammy Martin, it came down to Tommy Hodson and Kevin Faulk. And "all eyez on 3" gets my vote.

Defense was much closer between Dorsey and Patrick Peterson. Michael Brooks was my favorite, but after much debate with my brother, PatPete gets my my vote.

What says the The Rant??????

Cecil Collins and Patrick Peterson. Bradie James was pretty good too.

Offense= Faulk & Hilliard, went with Faulk because of the kick returns.

Defense=Dorsey over Peterson.

I'm going to go with Davey to Reed and big Glenn Dorsey. Reed always will have a spot in LSU lore for me since I played against him in high school and actually had a couple tackles on him. I know CSB

PS had to edit for drunken forgetfulness on sentence structure.

Patrick Peterson impressed the heck out of me when I saw him start. Blew me away with his abilities.

Mathieu is a very close second. I've said it before but who cares.... It was almost like there were two #7's out there. That kid was everywhere and he has skills that are just insane. Glad he's doing well.

On offense.... hmmmm. It's got to be Kevin Faulk. I would say Hodson but that was in 89, I think.

Why not just say graduated LSU in late 90s/early 2000s?
