The website Regulations.gov lists 141 regulations that have been posted by federal agencies in the last three days alone. Of these regulations, 119 are “rulemaking,” meaning they establish a new rule. Twenty-three are “non-rulemaking,” meaning the regulations does not establish a new rule. The largest group of regulations have to do with energy and environmental issues, many of them issued by the Environmental Protection Agency. One new EPA regulation is an amendment to a rule on hazardous emissions from lead smelters.

Individuals and Business ought to ignore that stuff...just like Obama/Holder IGNORES Laws on the books. Tie up the Courts and force the whole thing to a polar Mexican Standoff. Piss on Court Orders, Levies...the whole thing.
This is really 'taxation without representation', and should be treated as such.
Frickin 'Animal Farm' in the flesh.

And every liberal here loves it. Decatur, VB, they all applaud the noble work the government is doing in controlling it's citizenry.

you can argue we have way too many (we do), but not that they are unlawful. Good grief.

I thought the last lead smelter closed? Why would they need new regulations then (unless, of course, the idea is to keep one from ever being built or reopened again).

Probably true, technically, TA. But just like Obama/Holder IGNORES Laws passed by Congress, which should secure our borders...would that be 'lawful', IYO?
This thing is so far from the Original Intent of the Constitution...it's like the boil a frog tale. Did the Congress EXPRESSLY give these powers to Agencies...or do they just ASSUME such power? I'd like to see the fine print; I don't think it exists. If so...our Legislators are malfeasant.
Complexity, creates the demand for more complexity, to define, clarify and implement policy. Need a whole new bureaucracy just to do that. Where does it end? Look at the ACA trainwreck.
Tell me that you VOTED to pay for an exponentially increasing State that attempts to equalize all citizens economic inequality? Who would vote to fund such...other than them who see gain in another's labors. There is you 'good grief'.
I stand by my taxations without representation assessment. In spirit, if no longer technically so. George Orwell would laugh his arse off; even he could only imagine that this thing would come down. People farming.
Think I'll go with Spidey on this one.

Is that where they put all the regulations?

Just answer the simple question.

You act as if these regs have no impact. If you actually were responsible for other people's livelihoods and how regs affect the bottom line, you'd have a different perspective.
But, as long as a law or regs "feels right", Libtards don't care, right Tuba?

No I don't.

I don't even know what regs you're talking about. You act as if all regs are the same thing and one is the same as another.

Sure, whatever you say. Not much point arguing with you is there?

So, explain the "who gives a crap" comment.
Sure sounds like you don't give a rat's arse about MORE red tape.

Who cares what the number of regulations are? Especially considering what you count as "one" regulation may not be entirely clear. Complex regulations might be considered one - or they might be considered several - so the counting of the number of new regulations is really just silly.
ONE regulation that requires everyone eat 10 pounds of kale before boarding an airplane would be very bad - even the dirty hippies at Trader Joe's know that.
On the other hand - many regulations governing how toxic waste is disposed of can be very good.
Each form of toxic waste needs to be handled in a different manner, there is clearly no one sized fits all approach to toxic waste disposal - and modern industry produces all sorts of toxic waste - so out of clear necessity you'll need a lot more than one regulation to deal with that.
So its hardly the friggin' NUMBER of regulations that matters.

Sounds like you need to hire someone to help you with your red tape. If its truly that burdensome - your competitors are probably doing the same thing. If it isn't - stop whining.
