He didn't have the talent B Wing had though.

Please enlighten me. Which players from last years team that left early are on practice squads??

Maybe an exaggeration, but we do seem to have a disproportionate number of guys leaving to be mid-round picks at best

I already wasn't planning to bet on this game but now I'm for sure not.

Yea really... Montgomery is the only 1 i can think of and he was a 3rd round pick, and got cut from the texans.

Fords on the Bears 53 man roster, Ware was the starting FB but got hurt and put on IR, Simon was doing great in camp and Seahawks were really impressed with him then he broke his foot and on the IR. Faulk is on the IR also.

And league minimum is $400k in the NFL.

I don't think it's an exaggeration; I think it's true. But I guess you could argue the whole rookie salary change thing?

I know some players have given it their all this year, but I'll be glad when this class is gone and the new guys come in. Ever since the national championship game this team seems like they lacked fire and intensity

I could be wrong but I can't think of any Juniors who left early last year and only made the practice squad.

Definitely a couple of seniors but I think all the juniors made the 53 man roster or got injured (Simon).

Ware would have been cut eventually, people dont keep 2 FBs.
Simon, who knows but I doubt he would have been active.
Wing isnt even in the league.
Chris Faulk where is he???
Montgomery got picked up by the Raiders, but who knows what his deal is.

But sure, lets celebrate an early entree to mediocrity.

They all left because they know losing 3 games in the NFL doesn't ruin your season.

Big loss especially against Iowa.

I don't really think so. He's a decent player, but he only had 1 sack this year (and it was against Kent State). He hasn't done that much and some of our younger guys have looked good in there. We'll get to see what the next guy up can do and look toward the future.

Wow.. shows how much you know.

Ware - starting FB for the Seahawks, yet you say he was eventually going to be cut... they cut Robinson because of Ware. Then he got hurt with an ankle injury and they had to re-sign Robinson. He played this year for Seahawks and looked good.

Simon - Was doing awesome for the Seahawks in preseason and was without a doubt going to make the team and be the Seahawks 6th DB and contribute big time on ST. Broke his foot and sent to IR.

Wing - Punter with an attitude problem... what do you expect? Only 32 punters in the NFL

Faulk - On the Browns... basically gave him a red shirt with his knee injury. On the IR.

Monty- 3rd round pick, cut, picked up.

true, it's obvious that all these guys are all high-character, extremely driven individuals who will not tolerate the mass incompetence that has permeated the LSU football coaching and administration staffs...
