The players get to practice in and break in the cleats during bowl time. Have to have them turned in 4 days before the game to be cleaned for the game to look like new.

Can't tell from the pic, but a lot of the soles are carbon fiber under the diagonal white plastic. Not sure about these though. These are nice.the kickers often have the nicest cleats though. Kangaroo leather Nike Tiempo Legends.
