I wonder if players like getting new cleats for each game. They wouldn't be worn in and pretty stiff, which is no bueno

There is so much ankle tape and over the shoe and sock tape it really doesnt matter.

First game under Curley Hallman though, a few of the DB's thought it would be cool to wrap black tape around their socks. Caused such an uproar that Hudson said that he received more mail about that than the game. He told the equipment manager that he didn't want to see any black tape in the training room ever again.
BTW, how much more money are they wasting on new shoes for this game? Ya think maybe we could get the entire team unified and wearing the same style/design?
