Don't believe me? Take a look at this poll. 50,000 other people agree
Oh and thoughts on the single Christian chick? OT 6?

ESPN needs to stop forcing this made up "tradition".

I'm watching my 2nd game now. The latter half of games will be much more entertaining though.
HOU/Spurs will be damn good.

Or flex the matchups.
The Knicks blow this year yet because they are the Knicks they get a Christmas National TV matchup while Portland is no where to be found.

OKC nearly up by 20 in the 2nd qtr snooze fest indeed. It's like watching a WWF "squash" match from the early 1990's.
It's sad because on paper these matchups looked good when the schedule was released.

A lower tier bowl game would be better than these NBA games.

Shows what they know...Hou/SA and GS/LAC are both worth watching.

Pretty excited about the 2 tonight. The Lakers/Heat matchup is stale. How much does it suck for the Heat that they win the championship and have to go on the road on Christmas to take on Swaggy P and the awful Lakers?

At some point, the Heat need to start playing a home game for Christmas.

Two matchups tonight are gonna be legit. I'm excited for those.

your knowledge of taking screen caps sucks more than the NBA games

The night games should be good. I have the Knicks game on now but it's more background noise than anything. NBA should look to flex some of the better teams in next year.

According to the poll, 49% of people will be watching basketball today. If the NBA stops doing Christmas games, 0% will watch basketball. Solid work in this thread, armchair commissioners.

quote:It never occurred to me how often they play on the road on Christmas, but think of how bad it would be if they played at home. Their crowd drags arse getting to games as it is—they just flat-out wouldn't show up if they had a homer on Christmas. Brooklyn and New York were sold out, and the other three games will definitely have capacity crowds.
At some point, the Heat need to start playing a home game for Christmas.

The two ABC games are garbage but there is literally nothing else to watch sports-wise.
FML for canceling cable earlier this year. I watched the second half of OKC and NY. I refuse to even passively watch Lakers-Heat. I'm going to go rake some leaves or something.
