- defense holds to field goals
- Brees forces an int; Panthers score TD
- saints down 10 and abandon their game plan
- weather, crowd noise, and lack of confidence spell #5 seed

Tied at 20-20 at the 2:00 warning... Saints ball near midfield
Brees hands off to Ingram who runs off LT (Armstead) and busts it for like a 30 yd gain
Saints milk down the rest of the clock to set up a Shayne Graham FG from 30 to 35 yds out... and he splits it as time expires to clinch the win... division title & 1st round bye
