I was born in Bethlehem and whoever wrote this thing is totally lost. All 5 of these guys come from different parts of the state. Marino and Montana are from around Pittsburgh. Bethlehem is north of Philly. That is over 300 miles away. How is that the same region?

It is all the same region, known as Yankeeland

Rix was 0-5 versus Miami. That's worst than Peyton vs Florida.
Yeah, but was 25-11 overall and led the Noles to 3 ACC titles. He was almost exactly like Aaron Murray (except for that whole beating your rival thing). He was not "bad".
Also, I don't know if you can count the 5th loss against a guy who was redshirting

I've never heard of this guy before, but benching 350 with 4.5 speed? I'm sorry but he has no business at the quarterback position. That's a pure athlete who I want in my linebacking core.

I read that SB Nation article when it came out. I remember I got a free Sports Illustrated for Teens type of magazine that was a one time trial in the early to mid-90s. They had an issue called the Stars of Tomorrow or something like that, and the two guys on the cover were A-Rod and Dan Kendra.
Kendra seems like one of those guys who would have been a beast on something like CrossFit. In other words, an incredible athlete who loved working and clean living, but someone who wasn't particularly good at actual sports. He was also unlucky with injuries. I'm not surprised to see he's doing well since he was a bust in the extremely rare sense of a guy who wasn't a frick-up in any way, but was just overrated by scouts. Kind of like Billy Beane in the early 80s, when they all thought he was a safer pick than Daryl Strawberry.
I'm also not shocked that a former college quarterback who can read at anything beyond a 5th grade level is selling medical devices.

I wonder what he makes a year selling medical devices?

For those of you that remember Kyle Wright, he was another former QB who was the #1 overall recruit that ended up in medical equipment sales.

I would guess north of 100K, probably in the 150ish range.

Wow. Seems like it's an easy job to get into if you're a former athlete.

Yeah, I think it's a great job for former athletes. Growing up, my next door neighbor (who wasn't an athlete) did this for a living, and he ended up moving to a bigger house
Seems like the vast majority of people who do medical sales are either former NCAA scholarship athletes (plenty come from sports like lacrosse, golf, and soccer0, and then you have some really hot women, and a few random guys who lucked into it, like my neighbor.
