Just saw it tonite, good flick, some over done...one question
Is anyone having trouble with the Thorin character?
I mean he's supposed to be a great king but he leaves after 30 seconds of trying to open the gate WTF?
I didn't like the scene in which he confronts Bilbo for the arkenstone...it's like one minute he's in, one minute he's out...awwww frick it attitude and all of this after he welcomed Bilbo into the clan after he saved his arse at the end of an unexpected journey....
Seems like his character is not being very consistent

They are trying to portray the effect the Arkenstone is already having on Thorin's mind. He's kind of a little obsessed with it and this is messing with his reasoning like crack with an addict.
