dont know why griffin is so high, i get it, hes athletic and fun to watch, but besides his leaping ability his offensive game is very limited,he cant shoot the mid range, hes a good rebounder, but to say hes up that high in potential is not accurate to me, i dont see his game ever changing.

Yeah, he only averaged 23/12 his rookie year. I mean, where does "potential" go from there?

Does Griffin make his team that much better though? Relatively speaking of course. Carmelo scores close to 30/game and his teams never sniff the Finals

If you can score 20 points a game on 50%+ shooting while grabbing 10+ rebounds a game, Id say you're making your team a lot better.

Of course Melo shoots like 20+ shots a game and shoots under 44%, which is why he is generally considered a black hole

AD has a huge CIELLING but not everyone reaches it. Today, if you were to pick a PF for this season and only this season, I'm not sure AD is in my top 4 or 5 and I think he'll be the best PF in a few seaaons.

Well he was averaging 20/11/4blks, and leading the league in PER before he got hurt. So if he never reaches his ceiling those are already Hall of Fame numbers

You might find 4 or 5 PFs whose offensive games you like better, today. But there aren't 4 or 5 PFs in the game who can dominate on both ends the way he already can.

I think you are crazy if you werent calling AD in your top 4-5 PFs.

What do you want out of a big man? He is elite on offense and defense while not being a liability at the FT line.

There's things that Tim Duncan and Dirk do that doesn't show up in the stat sheet. Dirk's ability to hit every fade he puts up. Duncan's defensive postioning that gave the Heat fits last season. I'd have AD at #4 now that I think about it at PF.

So at 20, Davis doesnt have the skills of arguably the greatest offensive pf AND defensive pf? This is a serious criticism? No one measures up to that, let alone a 2nd year player.

No one has to like him the best, but Davis is easily in the conversation for best pf in the league based on his play this season. Scary thing is he can be much better on offense and defense.

Has Derrick Favors done anything to deserve the top 10 spot? I don't watch him much, but he doesn't seem to me living up to the hype. Just curious.

Derrick Favors

He was a breakout candidate this year with no more Millsap and Jefferson. He's been quietly having a pleasant season, but I think he'll improve. Still pitiful from the FT line though.

He's on my fantasy team.

Who is better?

AD can play offense and defense at an elite level. He also isn't a liability at the FT line.

If you count Lebron as a big man then he is not.

Tha fvck? Have you heard of Lamarcus Aldridge and Roy Hibbert?

People also forget we were one pick away from Paul George in 2010 when a G-F was our obvious need. I like to think he is who the organization would have picked as we desperately needed a SF.
