Couldn't give two craps about Saban. Bama fans need to be taken down a peg or ten.

Taking LA 5 stars to Texas is fine. Taking LA 5 stars to a division rival is not fine.

Having a division rival in chaos is always a good thing. As far as recruiting, I've posted several times why it's better to have Saban out of the SEC. Texas is not as big a recruiting threat to us as Alabama. Period.

No! look into the future. Right now Texas is not a recruiting threat because their coach is washed up and the program is not popular. Texas has $$$$$ period. The recruiting war will get worse if he's at Texas. Plus yea they go to Texas they aren't in our division, no big deal right? wrong. The goal isn't to beat Alabama. The goal is to win National Championships right? If Texas lives up to there full potential, the SEC will get shite on. Seriously y'all I don't know how this doesn't make sense. He will be alot closer to the incredibly talent rich state of California where he's already recruiting for BAMA. He'll be the flagship program in Texas the most talent rich and then Louisiana is right next door. He already picks a few away from us. A&M will have to recruit harder in Louisiana if Texas takes all the elite talent. He's the best in college football and if you think parents aren't going to direct their sons attention to the best coach in college football because he's dishonest then why haven't they stopped yet. He's lied many times already no one gives a shite about that.

Yes Texas has lots of talent to go around, but do you think the elite talent(top 3 guys in state) would leave Texas to come to LSU? That's all I'm saying. Texas sucking arse helps us out. I want them to continue sucking arse. We just need to keep our top guys away from BAMA. Which we have done. There is still plenty talent in state and we have done extremely well in the past. I just don't want this dude to have even more recruiting money to scrape the state of Louisiana with.

Bama sucking arse helps us more. Saban is on the verge of being washed up anyway. You've seen it in flashes this year, especially in the Iron Bowl, and there are rumors of health issues as well. Texas is so desperate that they're blind to rationality, otherwise they'd be looking at a young up and comer.

We'll be fine no matter what. The Saban brand is getting stale.

Alabama has been an LSU rival for a long time. That's the reason LSU was so upset when Saban went there--because Alabama was a rival.

Saban has few years left in the tank. He could bring Texas a NC no doubt.....I'd be more concerned if I was TAM. They go head to head for in-staters every year. Sumlin better man up if hes going against Nicky.
We just need to lock down our own here in LA and we're good!

There will always be players that want to play in the SEC only. If Saban leaves, that helps us because we are not recruiting against him for conference players.

Operative word - if.

He's not going anywhere. Bama will lock him up with this extension until he retires.

nah, Les will easily be the best coach in the SEC if Saban goes to Texas. We'd win the west every 2 years instead of every 4.

I think this is just a negotiation tactic. But, Texas definitely has the money to make him the highest paid coach in the country.

The rival is Alabama, not Saban.

Yeah, Nick is the extra incentive to really give our all to beating Alabama. His absence will be a glaring one for a couple years. Then forgotten. I remember when Tubberville left Auburn and the glow of that big game sort of dimmed, and hasn't quite yet been restored. But I do believe Gus M. will fix that and that big game will become as big or bigger than ever.

Oregon got embarrassed twice this year and that hasn't really happened when Kelly was there except for the LSU game. You don't think any young Bama freshman or recruits would leave if Saban left? Recruiting is going to drop because Saban is going to bring his bi time recruiters that Texas money. Bama is going to spiral for a time without Saban.

Of course all this is if he goes. He's also going to have to deal with nothing but spread and HUNH offenses so I don't see Texas being in the playoffs anytime soon unless some bullshite is going on with the committee.
