Nowhere that I know of. You can get hevishot and bismuth though. Be ready to pay the big $$$$$$$$$

Almost 100% positive there is no such thing... they used to make bismuth, but might have some other metals now like hevi shot...

I think i got a box or two at my house still. The only brand that makes it is Remington Nitro Steel. Gonna be about 25 dollars a box and found them at bass pro i believe.

Another thing is, don't shoot steel out of a fixed full 16ga (which many of them are)

Why?
My dad has an old Ithaca 16 with a mod barrel that grew up shooting lead, and I shot steel out of it for a few hunts

will frick the barrel up with the quickness.... not lined and able to take steel shot through those constrictions

Depends where youre' located G&H in gueydan has them. Stopped two weeks ago and they had few loose boxes and cases

A modified choke is ok. Anything tighter is not. The barrels aren't strong enough to constrict a load of steel shot that tightly. When those guns were made, steel shot didn't exist.

What kind of gun?
Bismuth is no more. You can get nice shot, but it they don't make it any larger than 5 shot and it is special order from the manufacturer...

This is all very true...

From an old post of mine, should help:
I think bismuth is out of buisness, heavy shot might be your only option in no tox, besides steel. There might be a few other shells out there but not many...
RST Shotgun Shells has a number of shells including some no-tox. They make a great shell, but I don't know if anything they have will cycle the A5.
Polywad has shells that will not cycle a auto
Fiocchi has some shells that will cycle, but not in no tox
16ga.com shell forum, if you reload, you can make your own no-tox.
B&P USA makes very good shells
Federal Shells has a steel shot
Able Ammo has a number of makers including Heavy Shot in 16 that should cycle the gun...

Picked up 2 boxes at cabelas about 4 years ago. I think I've seen them since. They were about 28 a box for federals.

Its to bad that the 16 gauge has fallen from popularity. It really is a nice gauge suited for many types of hunting. If lead shot was still legal I have an older Ithaca 37 that would be the only firearm I carried on wingshooting ventures.

it would be a hell of a drive from covington, but I am sure Simmons in Bastrop has them...cool store, too...
