the waiter/waitress salary in LA is less than minimum wage. so, if we're generous and say her salary is $5/hour and overtime is time and a half, then an extra hour of work gets her a whole $7.50, before taxes.

I worked in the restaurant industry for years and the number one rule is to not make your customers feel unwanted. Ever. Late tables suck but bitching about it on social media is akin to quitting.

How about not getting all pissy about an hour of your time once in your life for something as important as this. This isn't about someone just being hungry this is an lsu recruiting tool. I bet she won't be complaining if we are in a title hunt in the next few years and Jamal Adams is having an all American season... But no *%#\ him for not showing up on time because of an ice storm while trying to visit our campus and see if he feels at home.
