We already knew their basketball program reeked of a stench when it comes to dirty and shady tactics but their football program is on the up and coming to be the next Thug U

One of their safeties, Dixon had a cheap shot of all cheap shots last night and was ejected for targeting, and by rule the player has to leave the field. Dixon continued to remain on the sideline and jaw, and then finally Gary Patterson finally had to tell the refs that he hasn't left the field, which prompted Briles to come across the field and complain at Patterson for tattling.

Dixon finally had to be escorted out of the field forcefully, which caused him to blow kisses to the crowd and go back and forth with the fans. Briles did nothing to discourage the antics nor put a stop to it did the coaches escorting him to the locker room. Then in the locker room Dixon decided to tweet about Casey Pachall's past drug problems.

Lack of class coming from Waco. But what do you expect when the athletic department sells their soul to the devil as they were on a one way ticket to Conference USA before all of this. The whole team is a bunch of thugs. Will have to pay the piper eventually

Completely disagree. Art is a hard working coach who has been handed nothing.

When we (LSU) played them in rugby, they weren't scum or TP'sOS.

I guess the other sports are where the problems are.

Actually a pretty classy school full of religious peeps.

Meh. Sounds like Dixon is the classless one. And lets be honest, who likes a snitch?

The reason it was a problem was that Dixon continued to jaw at the TCU players from the sideline.

This went on for a few plays after he was ejected

I would have to see the play to determine if it was truly a cheap shot. We all know 65% of targeting penalties are complete bulls hit. Why must a player go into ?the locker room. What point does that serve? Nobody likes a tattle-tell. Also can you point on the doll where art briles touched you?

The fact that the ejection was upheld under replay should be enough to let you know it was cheap.

And if you had reading comprehension, you'd realize that the reason him staying on the sideline was a problem was the fact he continued to talk shite to the TCU players from the sideline for several players after he was tossed.

Imo, you have 50 other players on that sideline to worry about. If I'm the coach I don't have time to deal with this kid during the game, because i'm in the middle of calming my team and taking control of the guys who are actually playing. Once in the locker room after the game is when I would address it.

Btw, Dixon was arrested for assault earlier in the season and didn't get suspended by Baylor. He then proceeded to knock an OU player flat out on a cheap shot (that wasn't called) and literally stood over him talking trash while the trainers tended to him. He's the epitome of TPOS

Briles isn't classless, Patterson is just a frickin crybaby. Remember before the LSU game he was bitching about Miles not suspending the RB.

Patterson has always had a hard-on for Briles, it's pathetic.

I'm going to have to agree that the hit there was an ejection-able offense.

meh, they are also both pretty good coaches. Patterson is a whiner but he's not wrong about Briles. Briles's teams have a history of this sort of thing. It's what he teaches and I can see how other coaches would have a problem with it.

In the 1970s, Ahmad Dixon would be considered a great player. In today's world he's a headhunter and I don't mean that in a good way. He literally should be thrown out of every game given the rules that are in place today. The fact that he's a senior and has played this way for four years suggests what Patterson says is true - there are no consequences at Baylor for hits with intent to injure. And given his rep, he certainly shouldn't have been laughing afterwards. At least pretend you didn't mean to hurt the kid
