Cabelas gear has never done me wrong I have the dry fowl jacket you posted, well the older model one. I have a 3-1 herters as well but I have to layer it up when it gets a ditch diggers as in January cold like the next couple of days.
By the way get a good goose down jacket to put under it and you will never be cold, best investment ever. I usually just wear that with the outer layer of my 3-1 jacket over it.

I have heard from a couple of people that while their jackets are the best on the market and warm as hell you really dont need them down here. You can wear that jacket with a t shirt and be fine in the weather we are having right now.

Since I started wearing underarmor cold gear, I haven't had to wear any heavy layers. That stuff really does keep you warm.

Got the Sitka Delta wading jacket bc I wanted a good long term jacket that's really waterproof. I tried several others on bf getting settling on that one but it just felt/fit the best. You generally don't need the heavy stuff down here so make sure you get a good outer shell that allows room to layer underneath when it does get cold. I have an old browning DC 3/1 with the down liner and I love it, but wore it out over 15 yrs or so. Tried drake wader jacket for a few yrs but it sucked bad in the rain. Quality brands that I've used or know guys that have used are Columbia, cabelas, browning and beretta. Filson and Mcallister make quality stuff as well but won't do quite as well as goretex in the rain.

I use a Browning Duck Commander series, about 8 years old now. Fantastic jacket. Browning doesn't make that jacket anymore, so i purchased a couple of the dirty bird lines for my sons. WAY better constructed for HUNTING than drake or the other popular brands. You won't be sorry...

dirty bird lines
Field supply had a sale on these that ended Saturday. I think the dirty bird jackets were $69. I ended up ordering a browning down jacket for $49. Should come in early next week.

If you have some extra $$$ laying around look into Filson. They make quality stuff. The 3 in 1 jackets are nice I have one, however they are bulky. A good Filson coat blocks the wind and is warm. Wax them once a year and completely waterproof and will last for ever.

I have the Cabelas brush buster, great jacket. I also have a Redhead wader jacket from Bass pro I bought years ago. It's a good jacket just not sure of their quality now.

Until it completely fell apart, it was my Dad's WW2 Army field jacket that he wore on Okinawa. Now it's a woodlands camo Gore-Tex parka I was issued when I was with the Seabees.

I have a Columbia Widgeon parka but find myself wearing my Game Winner wader jacket more than any other jacket. It has kept me warm and dry and I love the shorter length as well as the chest pockets. Will be getting the lightweight waterfowl jacket from Game Winner this year and using the extra savings for my new pistol fund.

I have three that get circulated regularly.
McAlister wax cotton with a liner. Really needs to be waxed right now but it is unbelievably warm.
Columbia Widgeon. Great jacket that I've had for a long time. Completely waterproof and very warm
Drake LST - When it's cold and I don't have to worry about heavy rain this is usually the one I grab. It's really warm and lightweight.
