The roof thing is an inside joke.

Why am I acknowledging you?

unfortunately, any likely afc team will be from a cold-weather city. why can't houston(2-8), san diego(4-6),or miami(5-5) be any good this year?

Just playing in another Super Bowl is an honor that most teams either 1) have never experienced or 2) have experienced only once.

So if/when Saints get there in February, all we can do is just sit back, watch the game, and know we got there again.

True. I will still be excited. But will be irritated by the single digit temps.

the super bowl could be on the north pole and I wouldn't be upset that we are playing well. What an absurd premise

Because no one else said it, only laughed, I will. The roof on CenturyLink is not retractable. It looks like it should be, but it is not. The odd overhang shape is only there to amplify sound rather than "close" the roof.

I hope you do realize I was making fun of the 2nd Post of the thread.

I am know the have a open stadium

I think I know what you are saying, but I would prefer the Saints to play in a Super Bowl in NY/NJ than to sit home and watch it in NO.

And here's my opinion on the Super Bowl being played outside:

Both teams have to play on the same field in the same conditions.. I really don't think it'll be as big of a deal as some on here are making it out to be..

It's just something to talk about right now I guess...

I think this road test at Seattle will be a good determination of how we might play in that kind of weather

Seattle won't be nearly as cold as NY in February.

It's a huge deal unless we are playing Miami or another dome team.
