Is in the airport after a loss when travelling home...,

I have my LSU on regardless of win or loss...

I see another Tigah that might be involved in their own world recapping the loss and trying to rationalize spending tons of money on the trip, and I make sure to walk up and give a "Geaux Tighas"...

It makes it alnmost worth it to make the connection and validate the belief that there is nothing like the NATION in all the land...

I love when i see my brethren in garb in the airport post loss...

Obviously better when we can share connecting flight beers after a win...

NATION IS STRONG!

I've been told numerous times by airport employees that nobody wears their school apparel like LSU ...win or lose.
Lotta these people tell me they really like LSU and pull for us if we aren't playing their school of choice.

Through thick and thin, man!

A few years ago, I had to go to my cousin's wedding in Denver.

We drove up to Estes Park, had lunch. Watched some elk walk through town.

Drove a little further up and went to this place in Rocky Mountain Nat'l park. It was 80° at our hotel, it was about 50° at this place.

So long story short, I put on an LSU windbreaker I had and I started walking around. Looking at the mountains, the wildlife, etc.

Out of nowhere, I hear, "Geaux Tigers!" I turned around and there were some people also wearing LSU gear.

We started talking and turns out they were from Mandeville.

Way up at the top of the Rockies, I bump into Tiger fans. That was really cool.

This is probably a good point to remind everyone the proper response to Geaux Tigers is to say Geaux Tigers right back. Not thank you, or yeh or some other lame response. Just saying.

Copioustiger1, i agree on your point. It is not my favorite moment per se of a "geaux tigers" but i get your point . I always wear my P&G no matter win or lose and i agree a lot of the airport folks comment. I have lived all over this country and it is remarkable how many times i get a random Geaux Tigers. My wife went to Oklahoma and we see Sooner gumps all the time, there is never an exchange that comes from her mouth. She always comments on the Geaux Tigers exchange..."all L.S.U. Fans love each other, that always cool to see". The pride and brotherhood/statehood is unique outside IVY league schools. The Gump Bama trash does RollTide of course but that is really a secret way of saying "do you have any meth to go with my Busch Light", it also means "i really didnt go to the university but i do love football and wish i wasnt so trashy". You have to take it in context to figure out what meaning it has relative to the situation.

One more thing, i was driving in Cincinnati the other day, a car pulls up next to me, a hot mom driving a mini van, her 8yr old boy rolls down the window and yells "geaux tigers".
I yell "get em babe".
My wife looks at me and says, "that was badass".
The classic "L.S.U." Bumpersticker on my back window is what afforded me this golden opportunity on a cold overcast typical ohio saturday.

I honor of playing the Aggies tomorrow... This post reeks of someone who never attended LSU.

It always irks me when you don't get "Geaux Tigers" back, don't wear LSU garb if you aren't going to recognize a fellow Tiger!

Was in Cancun on vacation wearing an LSU baseball shirt to breakfast this past summer. Our waiter saw my shirt and started a lengthy conversation with me about LSU football and his favorite college player, Jamarcus Russell. Said he had never been to America but his favorite college team was LSU. Thought it was pretty cool
