I rate him 8 or 9. Have any of you thought that the entire SEC is the top-flight conference in America? Alabama is on an exceptional roll presently. Mizzou, A&M, Florida, Miss, and others are high quality teams. For me, I am glad they play in the nation's best & toughest conference. 1,2,or 3 losses yeah, it's tough but.. it beats playing a conference full of weak teams. Look at Ohio State - really good but will never make the championship game because of weak conference foes.
I'll take LSU, Miles, several losses to great teams, and root for LSU while holding my head high!

A lot of the problem fans have with Miles he brings on himself outside of the win/loss record. His goofiness is all well and good when things are going well but come off bad when things are not going well.
Not really related to the problems now but over his career he seems to like a close game and will do almost anything to make a game that shouldn't be close, come out close at the end. It's like how he gets his kicks coaching. Where other coaches get their kicks by pounding their opponent into the ground.
