The first 2 episodes are and hour and a half a piece. Was it a movie or something?

It is most definitely worth watching.
33 is a great episode (the first episode after the miniseries), and you'll either be hooked by then or you can just give it up.

yes, its one of the best series I've seen
just be forewarned that the first episode is actually a TV mini series combined into one 3 hour long TV movie.
after that though there are only a couple more feature length episodes.

Great series, really hits its stride in Season 2 and 3. Next to Lost, probably the greatest sci-fi series ever on television.

Yeah, it gets overrated in these threads. Average Scifi concept with Above Average production values. It's not the best ever but well worth the watch.
