I think Mandel has us in Cotton vs. Texas which would be a tasty win, good for recruiting, good TV exposure, etc. He has Ole Miss vs. Michigan in Gator Bowl and I would think CFA would welcome Ole Miss as a change of pace and a LSU - Michigan match-up Gator has more appeal (more than South Carolina vs. Central Florida in Sugar, as an example...)

I'm not sure we'd beat Texas. We don't have anyone who could cover Shipley or Davis. They struggled early, but have since righted the ship, while we are floundering badly. We all knew the defense probably wasn't going to get much better, but somewhere along the way, the offense went into the crapper as well.

Im not so sure A&M will be favored and certainly not by more than 3 points. To write this game off is not wise. These are the kind of games u must win at home. A&M has a terrible and small defense. Mett Hill and the WR's are going to have a big day.

ESPN has LSU and Michigan in Gator Bowl. If they said it, it has to be true or they will make it true.

What a great game, LSU takes Michigan to the freaking backyard and puts an arse-whippin on them so bad that Hoke get's fired and Michigan finally hires Miles away from LSU.

Oh would that be good times, good times!!!

If we can't get into the Cotton Bowl, the Gator might be the most interesting match up for us. The whole Miles vs. his alma mater angle. I think our fans might actually travel to see that game; at least more so than the CFA, Liberty, or Music City Bowl.

Bowling, while there are many, too many bowls these days, is not an entitlement. It might be a very good reality check for LSU, its coaches, the A.D., the team and fans, to stay at home this holiday season, uninvited and unranked. But it would also be very sad.

One of two bowls:
1. Indy Bowl vs either Boston College or Wake Forest
Or
2. Liberty Bowl vs North Texas or East Carolina (conference usa champ)

Tulane doesn't want this. They may think they do, but they don't.
