I was there in the Spring for the baseball series. I concur with this.
LSU could also learn a thing or two from them regarding traffic management. The Saturday game of the series was the same day as their A-Day game, and I had ZERO problems getting around.
Baseball complex getting 30 million dollar upgrade.

I have talked to a couple people who went to the bama game and they said parking and traffic wasn't a problem at all.
Did they consult with traffic engineers to develop a plan? Maybe LSU can usethe same people.

Complete bullshite
You see tickets for sale for face value or less weeks before a top 10 sec matchup
And then on game day people cannot GIVE away tickets.
People who give the "blue collar bill has been priced out" don't actually go to games. I'm convinced of it.

For example: face value tickets being sold for A&M
Where are the blue collar fans who are priced out???

You'd live in Tuscaloosa over Baton Rouge??!!! What are you waiting for?? Geaux!! My parents lived in Tuscaloosa for a couple years and it was the most boring place ever!!!! I would take Baton Rouge over Tuscaloosa any day!!!!

Actually northern Tuscaloosa headed towards northport is a pretty area. Prettier than Baton Rouge IMO.

Many Bama fans think UA's Gameday traffic plan is terrible
Guess perspective is different between fan bases.

I take 82 out of town and I haaaaaaaaaaate waiting on interstate traffic.
I don't understand why I can't bribe someone to shutdown lights between 82 and 15th and cone prep the interstate so people can get on in a steady flow.

Great post, TL;DR section was perfect. Makes me want to go and check out T.town despite the sense of artifice.

8.) Tuscaloosa weather service SUCKS. 0% chance of rain. Really?

I realize Baton Rouge is a much larger city than Tuscaloosa, and could actually survive without LSU (unlike T-Town)
T-Town can't survive without LSU?

The physical structure is just massive, it doesn't look all pieced together like TS bug rather like it was all built at once.
Built all at once?
Bryant-Denny has been expanded SEVEN times.

BTW - do you guys know what the best thing is that U of A's campus has to offer? Its the FACES of THOUSANDS of Gumps after a loss. I've been fortunate to see it 3 times (somehow I've managed to go to every away win in Bama since (and including) 2005 and stay home for every away loss). Nothing beats it.

Come on, Tuba. Get out of here with that weak sauce. BDS looks like it was built all at once. That's what the poster implied. he said "like it was built all at once."
Also, I think it was clear that I meant that Tuscaloosa could not survive without UA. It would be no better than, say, Laurel, MS or Eutaw, AL.

Article in the Advocate this morning about the efforts underway to improve TOPS and eliminate waste. There was also some suggestion that in 2014 the legislature may revisit giving the colleges more control over tuition. We can only hope.

On the business school..... I'm pretty sure there was a subtle attempt to mimic Notre Dame's new business school, which has the same modern barracks-looking layout. I visited it with my son about 3 years ago. Nice, but weird looking. Ours is even weirder.

Apparently each window is around $2000 at the BEC. Complete waste of money.
It's supposed to be a tech look and it looks cool from the inside. Looks ugly from a distance

Doesn't look anymore like it was built at once than TS, the expansions are clearly visible.
